🌿What Makes First Frost Unique?
At First Frost, classes are lively yet grounding—an invitation to move with curiosity, presence, and care.
Emma’s teaching interlaces yoga tradition, Traditional Chinese Medicine wisdom, and modern movement science, drawn from her Certificate IV in Fitness, TCM training and extensive yoga education. These knowledges meet and weave together to create classes that are respectful, embodied, and deeply enjoyable.
Each session is a dance between strength and softness, flow and stillness, reflection and play. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time, tending to an injury, or exploring new edges in your practice, Emma offers options for every body and every season of practice.
At First Frost, you’re invited to move freely, learn with awareness, and connect deeply with yourself. Each class opens space to soften into rest or rise to challenge—always guided by the rhythm of your own breath.
🧺 What to Bring
Bring your yoga mat if you have one. We provide all other equipment. Wear comfortable clothes that let you move and breathe easily.
🍂 Why “First Frost”?
First Frost is inspired by early autumn, a time of quiet change and turning inward. As the days get cooler and light softens, we pause to reflect and reconnect. In yoga, we move through cycles of activity and rest, growth and letting go. Every class ends in śavāsana, a resting pose that mirrors nature’s cycle of renewal. At First Frost, we respect these changes with care. The calm, steady energy of early autumn is in every class, giving you space to slow down, listen to yourself, and just be.
💛 Come As You Are
Classes are open to all levels.
Come solo or bring a friend — there’s always space for you on the mat.
